IF IT CANT FIND THE RIGHT FONTS


Ensure you have the 75dpi fonts installed

yum install xorg-x11-fonts-75dpi xorg-x11-fonts-ISO8859-1-75dpi

IF IT BUGS YOU ABOUT libXp.so.6

yum install libXp.so

IF YOU GET A "libirc.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied"

YOU NEED TO ADJUST MAYA'S PERMISSIONS

Set SE linux to permissive

Maya encountered a fatal error Signal: 11 (Unknown Signal)

Could be a lot of things , try starting the NVIDIA control panel and closing it . This is a bizzare bug.
